2. Legal framework
We process personal data in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, under the supervision of the Moroccan data protection authority (CNDP — Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel), and, where applicable to guests residing in the European Economic Area, the principles of the EU GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
3. Data we collect
- Identity & stay data: name, nationality, ID/passport details required by Moroccan hospitality regulations, dates of stay, room preferences, number of guests.
- Contact data: email address, phone number, postal address.
- Reservation & billing: booking references, rate type, payment status (payments may be processed by our booking partner).
- Website & cookies: technical logs, language preference, cookie consent choices, and anonymized analytics if accepted.
- Contact form messages: content you voluntarily send via our contact form.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Contract performance: managing reservations, check-in / check-out, guest services and invoicing.
- Legal obligation: guest registration registers required under Moroccan law; accounting retention.
- Legitimate interest: hotel security, fraud prevention, improving our services and website.
- Consent: non-essential cookies, marketing emails (only if you opt in).
5. Online reservations
Online bookings may be completed through our booking partner (e.g. HotelRunner / Booking.com). That partner acts as an independent or joint controller for payment and booking-platform data. Please also read their privacy policy. We receive the booking details needed to honour your stay.
6. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies required for security and language selection. Preference, analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent via our cookie banner. You may change or withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies or contacting us.
7. Sharing and transfers
Data may be shared with: reception and hotel staff; IT and hosting providers; booking and payment partners; and public authorities when legally required. Transfers outside Morocco (e.g. to EU booking platforms) are limited to what is necessary for your reservation and protected by appropriate contractual safeguards.
8. Retention
Guest and booking records are kept for the duration of the stay and thereafter for the periods required by Moroccan commercial, tax and hospitality rules (typically up to several years). Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond. Cookie data follows the lifetimes shown in the cookie banner.
9. Your rights (CNDP / GDPR)
Subject to applicable law, you may request:
- access to your personal data;
- rectification of inaccurate data;
- erasure or restriction, where legally possible;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest;
- data portability, where GDPR applies;
- withdrawal of consent for cookies or marketing.

10. Security
We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect guest data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No transmission over the Internet is fully secure; please use strong unique passwords on booking platforms.
11. Minors
Bookings involving minors must be made by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect children’s data for marketing purposes.
12. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
